Customer Need

Real Estate Management (UK) Limited have some impressive assets in their portfolio including Western Europe’s tallest building - The Shard, The News Building and residential development project – Shard Place at Shard Quarter, 48 Pall Mall in St James’s and Park House in Mayfair.

REM required additional flexibility and enhanced Wi-Fi performance at their Park House residences in central London, where an exceptional level of service is expected by residents. REM needed a provider that could retrofit a new Wi-Fi service into their automation systems with minimal disruption. In their search they approached two other big-name providers, neither of whom were able to take on the project and offer a suitable full fibre proposition.

Our Solution

REM chose Glide Residential to partner with for the introduction of a new managed internet service to increase reliability, speed and overall user experience. An ultra-fast full fibre solution was implemented, producing speeds of up to 300Mbps on a flexible rolling contract. The service was installed as quickly and discreetly as possible at times that caused minimal disruption to residents.
