Key Responsibilities:

As a Lead Network Engineer for the Connectivity Team, you will be responsible for the operational stability, capacity management and Life-Cycle evolution of the Wireless Network Infrastructure. You will also act as a technical point of escalation for the team for both the wired and wireless estate.

Knowledge and Experience:

We are looking for a self-starter who is able to liaise with key stakeholders at all levels throughout the business. Must have a high level of written and verbal communication skills and be able to operate autonomously with minimum supervision. Problem solving and the ability to produce clear and concise documentation are paramount for this role. Must also be able to operate under pressurised conditions in a professional manner.

Qualifications/Technical Skills:

CCNP level qualifications or demonstrable understanding of large-scale wireless Infrastructures across multiple vendor technologies, specifically Cisco and Ruckus. Exposure to the full suite of Cisco LAN switching products preferred, Cisco WLC design and management essential. A degree of Ruckus product knowledge, specifically the VSZ, ICX switching platforms and wireless AP’s would be beneficial. A good level of understanding of Security considerations and Patch management is expected.
